Northrop Grumman Service Contract

Shipyard Maintenance

Gulf Coast Air & Hydraulics has a service contract for all three of the Northrop Grumman shipyards located along the coast. These yard have full Navy contracts that keep the United States navy fleet up to date in the latest technology. The service contract is to work along side the maintenance department and help keep equipment and machinery going throughout the yards.

No Lost Time

Since GCAH has been working in the yards there has not been any lost time recorded due to any injuries out in the field. We are very proud of our working relationship with the three yards and they know that if they are in a equipment down situation we will be there to get them back up and going.
By us doing a quick turnaround this will keep the yard in line with meeting their navy contracts.

“There has been no lost time
recorded due to injuries.”

Hurricane Katrina Response

One thing that we pride our selves on is that four days after hurricane Katrina we were contacted via satellite phone to come in and help get the yard back up and going. The Pascagoula yard had 12 feet of water to cover the whole yard. We brought back equipment to our shop and started cleaning and flushing hydraulic circuits to get the key piececs of equipment back to them so thay could use the equipment to clean up the yard. We dispatched a crew that worked seven days a week for six months in the yard to aid in helping them get back up in running.

Northrop Grumman’s Ship Systems sector (NGSS), headquartered in Pascagoula, Mississippi, includes primary operations in Pascagoula, Miss., New Orleans, La., Gulfport, Miss., and Tallulah, La., as well as in fleet support offices in the U.S. and Japan.
